Red Mango is the fastest growing retailer of authentic nonfat frozen yogurt. Headquartered in Dallas, Red Mango serves uniquely delicious frozen yogurt that is all-natural, nonfat, gluten-free and packed with beneficial live and active probiotic cultures that support a healthy immune and digestive system. darbyDARNIT helps plan and coordinate Houston-area Red Mango store grand openings and media relations.

Headquartered in Spicewood, Texas, just outside of Austin, Cuvee Coffee is a specialty coffee micro-roaster that provides independent coffee houses with sustainable, single origin, and estate coffees from Africa, South America, and Central America. Each of the coffees is roasted to order in small batches. Cuvee also provides barista training and sells high-end espresso and brewing equipment. darbyDARNIT handled media relations and provided strategic marketing communications support to Cuvee.

Dionysus Salon & Spa, with locations in The Woodlands and Midtown Houston, Texas, has been honored as a Top 200 Salon by Salon Today magazine for four years in a row. The co-owner of Dionysus is a world-renowned hair stylist and has participated in Fashion Week every year since 2003, styling hair for designers such as Vera Wang, Perry Ellis, Michael Kors, and many others. darbyDARNIT handled media relations efforts for Dionysus, securing several significant feature story placements.

Phil Kraus & Associates was a commercial real estate firm based in Wilmington, North Carolina. darbyDarnit is working with its principal to enhance visibility of his commercial real estate partnership services and recruit more investors looking to expand their portfolios. darbyDARNIT concepted, designed, and provided the content for a branded Web site and handled public relations and marketing outreach efforts for the campaign.

Castlerock Investment Group takes custom homebuilding to a new level. Wing Aviation is a full-service aviation company specializing in high-quality aircraft charter and management, airframe maintenance, avionics installation and aircraft painting. Nonprofit

The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a global charity that grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. The Foundation retained darbyDARNIT to write one of its annual reports and to provide strategic counsel for a national public service advertising campaign. The Foundation continues to enlist assistance from darbyDARNIT for various creative and corporate communications projects. In addition, darbyDARNIT has provided pro bono communications services to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Texas Gulf Coast chapter.

Starlight Children’s Foundation helps seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear, and isolation through entertainment, education, and family activities. darbyDARNIT provides Starlight with marketing communications writing services.

HomeBase Youth Services addresses the needs of at-risk and homeless youth in Arizona through outreach, medical, independent living, and employment/life skills programs and more. darbyDARNIT provided this client with discounted writing and strategic communications services.

The internationally acclaimed Houston Ballet represents America’s fourth largest ballet. The New York Times has hailed the Houston Ballet as “one of the nation’s best ballet companies.” darbyDARNIT provided the Houston Ballet with creative and public relations writing services.

The Arizona Students’ Association is the advocacy arm for Arizona’s 120,000 public university students and lobbies on the local, state, and federal levels on behalf of access and affordability of higher education. darbyDARNIT was retained by ASA to handle crisis management and corporate reputation management efforts after it was found that the organization’s former executive director had embezzled funds over the course of several years.

Katy ISD encompasses 181 square miles just west of downtown Houston. The district is made up of 43 schools, including five high schools, that serve more than 44,000 students. The school district retained darbyDARNIT to provide copy for an annual report for its “Partners in Education” department, which offers five different programs to involve volunteers in mentoring, business partnership, and other programs.

Media

KHOU-TV Channel 11 is the local CBS affiliate for Houston. The station retained darbyDarnit to handle project management for a 2006 online holiday giveaway promotion. The station had recently launched a new Web site and was looking to drive traffic to its Web site through a contest for two Plasma HDTVs. darbyDARNITmanaged the staffing and logistics issues for the effort.
